Overlooking the Melindwr Valley and with the Ceredigion coastline of Cardigan Bay in the length, Bwlch Nant yr Arian is a forested, lakeside haven for wildlife.
Owned and managed by the Forestry Commission, it is really a fantastic place for crimson kites, buzzards and ravens and it is really probable at times to occur throughout the rarer, but equally extraordinary, goshawk or peregrine falcon.
Afternoon feeding periods for the crimson kite (2pm GMT, 3pm BST) are held at the lake and can entice up to a hundred people at a time.
A lake varieties part of Bwlch Nant yr Arian and this is household to some spectacular waterfowl such as the fantastic crested grebe. A few paths of varying distances, three mountain bike trails and a bridle route consider the visitor by way of the diverse habitats.
