Sunset in the Badlands Countrywide Park, South Dakota.
This park is an astounding spot! On-going rains, freezes and thaws have eroded the terrain, generating breathtaking canyons, buttes, pinnacles, and spires. The park also contains the premier secured mixed grass-prairie in the United States – dwelling for bison, bighorn sheep, prairie pet dogs, black-footed ferrets, antelopes and deer. As the sun went down underneath the horizon, coyotes started out howling down in the valley underneath, incorporating to the eerie atmosphere of the spot!
Woohoo! Flickr Take a look at placement #four for June 1st 2012! Thank you for all your comments and faves!
